This listing is for a 3D printed resin replica Spoonbill Skull.
The Spoonbill has a unique beak adaptation for catching its food from water. It will thrash its beak back and forth in the water which in turn churns up small fish and aquatic invertebrates. The word Roseate refers to the spoonbills rosy color. This species was driven to near extinction in the early 1900's by plume hunters. Today, spoonbill populations are making a come back.
Unlike other 3D printed replicas, these are virtually smooth.
All of the skulls are hand painted aged skulls done with an acrylic based paint. (but no two skulls will ever be identical) .
Approximate dimensions:
8.5"L x 2"W x 2.1"H
Processing time on ALL orders is 2-3 weeks, as everything is custom made to order.
Please contact me if you have any other questions or concerns and I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
